How It's Made & Our Promise to the Earth
“yiyi handmade soap” is crafted using the traditional cold process method. Every single bar is hand-stirred and created entirely by me. We never use artificial fragrances or synthetic dyes. The beautiful, earthy colors you see come straight from nature—from boiled herbal juices, natural botanical powders, and pure mineral clays.
I pour my heart into designing and making each piece of soap. The oils we use in our cold process are all food-grade: Hainan coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, castor oil, flaxseed oil, and canola oil. For the water phase of our soaps, we only use pure, natural spring water drawn straight from the Amni Mountains. It is incredibly gentle, clean, and pure on the skin.
Our Eco-Friendly Packaging
When it comes to packing your orders, “yiyi handmade” uses eco-friendly corrugated mailer boxes, biodegradable shipping bags, and biodegradable tape. Our labels are printed on handmade Bhutanese raw pulp paper. Inside the box, we use natural raffia and shredded coconut shells for cushioning.
